Transforming lives

SIF strongly believes that every child should have access to quality education irrespective of class, creed, gender, religion and caste. We conduct door-to-door awareness campaigns to sensitize the parents about the need to enrol children, particularly girls and school drop-outs in schools. Through various interventions, we are committed to putting the poor children in the orbit of higher education and career advancement and our strong belief is that every child must be in school and should have access to quality education. We enrolled a large number of children in the government run welfare hostels with a view to keep them in a safe and secure environment, so that they can focus on their studies. We engage with parents, communities, and civil society organizations to fulfil the educational aspirations of poor children.

We partnered with the Government’s Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Program to promote universal elementary education across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Over 10,000 children were reached out in our endeavour to advance social justice and equality through access to universal education.

Synergy India Foundation contributed Rs 30.60 lakh towards construction of two storied buildings for the Government’s Girls and Boys High schools at Trimulgherry, Hyderabad, in 2009. Computer labs, libraries, science laboratories, office rooms etc., facilities were provided in both boys’ and girls’ institutions and are being well maintained.
